There are a number of full scale builders on the Guillemot discussion
board (link below) that build miniatures on the side.  Don't know if any
of them do it as a business, but one of them may be interested in
building one for you if the price is right.  Bear in mind, these aren't
cheap chunks of wood shaped like a kayak.  They are built the same way
as full scale, fiberglass, cockpits, hatches and all, and are usually to
a scale that results in about a 16"-18" finished product (like a scale
of 1'=1").  Some of these guys who design their own boats build them as
prototypes before committing to full scale.  I've seen their pictures -
they are first class all the way!
