Hi all, I'm tempted to ask "Any good places to paddle in California?" and see how many responses I get <g>. Actually, here the detials - I will be leaving SF (Alameda actually) on 8-Mar and need to arrive Irvine, CA 11-Mar. So I have a day or two of travel by car down the coast. There will be two or possibly three rookies, and me, who's got maybe 100 miles total in my Cape Horn 14. In the past I've rented from Monterey Bay Kayaks and paddled the kelp beds in the bay. I'm thinking of that again or the Elkhorn Slough, unless someone has other ideas. What should we do? Thanks!
