Carey,

Purchase a copy of "Adventure Kayaking, Trips from Big Sur to San Diego"
by Robert Mohle. It is a fantastic book. It has over 50 different trips
with detailed directions on how to get to the launch site and landing
site (if different). The trips are rated from beginner to Advanced. I'm
sure you will be able to find some great places to paddle with it.

You can get the book from most kayak shops, Amazon.com, Barnes & Noble,
etc. I'm on my 2nd copy of the book.

Usual disclaimers apply - although I do know Rob and have paddled with
him on several occasions.
