Any wet suit I have ever had (neoprene or watersports polartec-type material) were bought because their main zipper was laid out in a way that it could be use as a relief zipper or had two zipper pulls, one of which comes from the bottom near the crotch area. So my choice has always been to wear non-snug nylon running shorts with two things in mind (not getting my privates caught in the zipper when putting on the suit; ability to relieve myself--this is where the loose fit of the shorts doesn't get in the way the way tight elastic compression shorts might). Running shorts have a built in jock support of sorts which is nice to have. They also prevent chafing in the groin area. And they provide a modicum of etiquette when getting in and out of the wet suit in public. ralph diaz-- ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Ralph Diaz . . .
