The rack is fine. The rack had been used for only 1 boat for some time and when a second boat was put on it for a short trip a dimple formed about 1/4 of the way in from the rear rack. We used the exact measurements in the directions for installation so I have to admit to being disappointed but . . . What does this mean? <<(1) be sure the foot of the rack is out to the edge of the roof >> The bracket for the tower clips to edge of the roof. <<I've had several racks on various Toyatas.
