Alex, I have outfitted my Kahuna with the hip-fit kit. Although I do not yet have a roll, it does provide a much more positive feeling of lateral control while underway. I also felt the difference immediately when practicing hip-snaps using a dock. I have also padded the front large crossrib with foam in order to provide a place for locking the legs. (Also helps prevent those nasty shin scrapes!) I would like to see Feathercraft offer some sort of thigh-bracing system. However, I have a feeling from my experience perfecting the "half roll," that one major issue is how not to fall out. I have the "Big Kahuna," cockpit and while it makes entry easier, it makes not falling out when inverted much more difficult. In hindsight, I find myself wishing I had ordered the normal size cockpit. (If only the length of my legs was adjustable...)
