  You might try making a cover out of PVC. It's polyester cloth coated both
sides with vinyl and comes in many colors, including white.( Same material as
many dry bags)  Not only will it look better than a polytarp, it is more
durable and much better looking.  Try "Mauritzon Inc"  in Chicago.  I use the
18oz  "Coverlight" for the skins on my folders, so it's sure to make a good
cover for your boats.  They may have even lighter PVC  for your application,
though 18oz is plenty light. Coat is only about $5.00 per yard, and can be
sewn or glued.  If you glue it, use HH-66 Vinyl cement.
