HeJ Keith Good and cheap, disregarded yachting sails work real good for any tarping, Most of the time they come for free. Lenze I'm considering keeping my boat on the trailer this summer for ease of use - hopefully I'll paddle more that way!. Wondering about a sun cover for it. I'd hate to use one of those dreadfully ugly cheap blue or green plastic tarps but....will these protect my boat (plastic) from UV / heat damage? How about 8 oz canvas - light colored? Local home center has canvas drop cloths that are 4 x 15 - would need two to get the needed length but would be inexpensive.
