Just added some pictures of the real device that will allow to set up a paddlefloat hands free outrigger.

They can be seen at http://community.webshots.com/user/cayucochief at third album called Mexican Outrigger.

This hands free outrigger allows to pump water out after a rescue, to take pictures, have lunch, other natural functions, etc..

It is very simple to adapt. Just one plastic U, one string and one cleat.

The string passes twice through the U, and has a knot so that it will not come out.

You just loosen the string, open the loop, pass the paddle, place it under the thigh brace and support it with your knee.
Stretch the string on the cleat.

Job done in less than 10 seconds. Lean over the paddlefloat and do your thing.
You can place the sprayskirt on top, except over the paddle shaft and bilge pump.

Hope you like it. I4ll bring it down in my kayak to CKF Fest. I4ll be happy to let anybody interested try it.

Best Regards,

Rafael

Don't know how it will work in a rescue scenario, but for lunch I can see
only benefits. For natural functions I doubt; it is still some acrobatics
with only one and such a small outrigger. It won't flip over but might tilt
enough to make you lose a balance and fall overboard, or even worse - to
point those functions in unwanted direction.
