I was camping and hiking at Enchanted Rock just outside Fredicksburg,Tx. After a very long, fun day a couple of climbers and I were enjoying the evening. Several times I commented on how light it still was and how long the day see to be. I attributed it to being outdoors with no time concerns to deal with but, later that night I remembered that it was the Summer Solstice and the longest day of the year.
