I'm living in Northern Wisconsin. At the end of August it has become apparent that an early May start does not get me in condition fast enough for a long summer trip, when the schedule only allows me to paddle a couple of hours once or twice a week. Any suggestions for a good conditioning routine for the off season and off days? I have not sen any good books on the subject.
