Looking for some info! I paddled around Manitoulin Island in northern Lake Huron this summer, but no one on Manitoulin seemed to know of anyone doing it prior to our trip. Surely PaddleWise folks know the real answer. Has anyone paddled around the island before us? It hard to believe we're first. After all, it is on record as the world's largest island in a fresh water lake! I don't know about Manitoulin Island, but on Isle Royale in Lake Superior the largest lake on the island has itself an island on it. It is said to be the largest island on the largest lake on the largest island on the largest lake in the world.
