I've been paddling the same places for years. The Wekiva river in Florida. An
occasional visit to the Gulf waters near Naples, Florida or the Mosquito
Lagoon.

I've been looking at some beautiful scenes of Thailand, Belize or the Bahamas
and have been thinking of taking a trip to kayak beautiful warm waters in an
exotic location.

I solicit help from this group to identify the best warm water locations -
and practical advice as to finding outfitters etc.

 Thanks

 Phares Heindl

BC or Alaska won't fit in - they are not warm waters. Baja gradually
becomes less exotic, though there is still enough room there to get lost or
vanish at all. Did you ever think of Exumas national park? It's pretty
close to Florida, though air connection is not the best possible - on the
islands close to the park there are airstrips for small 4-5 person planes
only.

Several years ago my wife and I were chatting with Derek Hutchinson and she
asked him "what's the most exotic place you've ever paddled?" He mentioned
some place in Vietnam where he paddled through large sea caves on islands
which contained lagoons in the middle which also contained islands.
