Check out Crocs. You can find them at www.crocs.com. I wore them all last summer. They're closed cell foam, very comfortable, drain quickly, don't retain water. I think they're the perfect warm weather paddling shoe even though that isn't what they're designed for. No affiliation, just a happy consumer.
