Here is another interested paddler.  I have to deliver a boat near 
Greenville SC at about that time and this would be only a little out of 
the way on the return home.

April is good.  I  would much prefer primitive camping on little Tybee 
to "resort" accomodations.  Is this a popular destination for students 
on spring break?  If so that might be a consideration with respect to 
timing.  Around here we avoid Panama City like the plague from mid 
March to mid April for that reason.
