A group of us are looking into paddling Princess Royal Island next summer.
This is the fourth largest island off the west coast of Canada, north of
Bella Bella. It's famous for the Kermode bear, a sub-species of black bears
that are white (not albino).

Anyone on the list ever paddled that area? Any suggestions regarding the
best time to go, transportation tips, camps, hazards, things to see, etc?

Any information or advice would be greatly appreciated.
