To liven the journal, we need photos of us jumping waterfalls in sea kayaks! Then we could be yiippy-hypieee too! I see Sea Kayaker as "Our Magazine"! If you don't like the content, write and submit either your ideas or your articles. PLenty of material that appears on Paddlewise could easily qualify for publication in Sea Kayaker. Many of you, myself included, are past contributors to Sea Kayaker. We may have the image of dead water paddlers, but we are mariners in small boats. We know the truth about coastal paddling conditions no matter what image the rec-boat folks would like to project. Sea Kayaker is not like another magazine out there that is truely ALL HYPE - ALL the TIME! That one is enough to choke a whale. When I get it, it goes straight into the dumper. Like I said; Ya got ideas-turn them in! If you like to write and have material- send it to Chris! We are the audience and we are the paddlers. What comes out is what we contribute. Chuck Sutherland
