Richard emailed me first and I approved the posting of the request, and manipulated the content to get the religious content as low as I could, I also put the geographic location in the subject so that those out of his area wouldn't bother with the post. I made the assumption that the paperwork (whatever the US codes are to allow income tax deductions) was in place based on Richards comment that "donations are deductible". I based my decision to allow the request because it was for a camp. Others on this list are involved with running non-profit trips/camps and I don't want to restrict their ability to make a similar request - assuming their tax deductible status is in place.... Maybe that wasn't the right decision, but it's one I made.
