Very good point about the greenhouse effect. I had not considered this. As
I am intending to use the set-up for video, I am probably looking for a
video DV camcorder. I am thinking that condensation will be a problem for
all these housings. Maybe if I pack dome dessicant in the housing with the
camera. It seems that high quality video and stills are not really offered
in the same device. I am wondering if anyone has tried dessicant to
eliminate condensation. I am imagining some kind of cover to shield the case
from the sun.

Its a nice setup and the image quality is actually very good for stills,
but the Canon solution has some small problems. The transparent housing
is not good for extended time in the sunshine. The greenhouse effect is
evident. The housing is for watercooled diving. It's also vulnerable to
condensation.
