"I have looked at his setup, but think I want something a little more sophisticated with a remote control and better image quality. Its so hard to have your cake and eat it too!" Its a nice setup and the image quality is actually very good for stills, but the Canon solution has some small problems. The transparent housing is not good for extended time in the sunshine. The greenhouse effect is evident. The housing is for watercooled diving. It's also vulnerable to condensation. The automatic shutdown to conserve battery lifetime helps but the use of the screen display limits the operating time. And be aware that the canon S50/S60 does not share the housing with the S70. The lense has another size.
