[Paddlewise] Kayak Rental

I am required to inflict myself on a bunch of lawyers for a week at a
seminar in Santa Monica from April 27 through May 4th, with most of
Saturday and Sunday free.  Does anyone know of a place where I could
rent a kayak to restore myself while there?  I will not have a car and
will be staying at a hotel that claims to be within walking distance of
the beach. 

Any help would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks in advance.

For those that recommended Tybee Island for my Spring Break trip - Thank
you!  It turned out to be a great trip.  All eight kids were
court-ordered to the trip.  Usually it's just most, not all.  So they
were a handful but the serenity of the place, and the gale force winds,
humbled them enough to make it a fun experience.
