[Paddlewise] 4/15 Deadline for North Shore Dragon Boat Festival

Hello fellow paddlers!

     The first deadline is fast approaching, for the Dragon Boat Festival
in Grand Marais Minnesota.  Teams that register by April 15 only pay a
total of $650,  registration is available online.  In addition,
registrants may email or call the festival's office at (218) 387-2372 to
request a registration form be mailed to them.  A deposit of $100 is required,
the balance is due June 15. Teams can be formed through a variety of sources 
including, but not limited to, family, friends (yes, even enemies), 
co-workers, neighbors, class reunions, etc.
Although the Festival would prefer participants form their teams, individuals
can email us to find a place on a team.

     So, now's the time to register if you want to take advantage of the
lowest registration fee.  Form your team and come have some fun!!!  Take a
look at some of last year's pics - that could be you this year.

     This year's festival is scheduled for July 29 - 31st, in conjunction with
the International Sea Kayak Race.
