Paddlers, Saturday I walked across the Golden Gate Bridge and stopped to watch the surfers at the south end. Two hours later, a sailboat tried to surf in with spectacular results. http://sfsurvey.com/photos/sail/index.htm Sincerely, Roy (from San Francisco) -------------- Roy P. If the owner of that boat wants, I can show him a cheaper and easier way to unstep a mast. :-) I surfed a 25' sailboat across the mouth of the Delaware to Cape May once upon a time. Just steep rollers - no breaking waves. I was having fun until I purled and took a wave full of water over the foredeck and down the forward hatch - under which the skipper was taking a nap.
