Yeah, it must be genuine Department of Defence tape, given the paddler in
question's proximity to navel base supplies; and besides, Canadian military
duct tape must be the most amazing stuff in the world, considering it
probably keeps Canada's ancient Sea King helicopter fleet, literally,
together. :-

So, it's actually _Canadian_ helicopter tape that's the good stuff eh.

Peter, you really should acquire some good duct tape; according to the US
Department of Homeland Security, duct tape's 1001 uses include sealing off
your home in the event of chemical attack. Hmmm, I'll have to try that next
time I'm fiberglassing in the basement. Family will love me for that,
though, I might expire. :-)

Seriously, if anyone would like an article on Duct Tape sent to them, just
e-mail me back channel. Lee valley had a recent publication on Duct tape
facts (not available on-line, though).

I currently have some duct tape on my Nordkapp, which is a sure sign it's
time for a full rebuild. Or, I could just wrap 10 rolls of tape around the
hull/deck. That would be strong. Or just by a plastic kayak.
