We are very close to finalizing our plans to paddle for a couple of weeks in the Ketchikan/Revillagigedo Island/Misty Fjords area this August. Never having been there we have lots of general and some specific questions. We were hoping some "paddlewiser" has first hand experience that they would like to share on the back channel. If you don't mind, feel free to email me and so we can get reliable information relative to paddling times, conditions, preferred routes, gear, hazards, weather, bears, etc etc. I will be happy to reciprocate on information from my many trips off the New England coast and Newfoundland.
