Another lady has paddled around the Canadian province of Prince Edward Island, completing the trip yesterday in 23 days. Jacki Lewis a Toronto lawyer, made the trip to raise money for cancer care-givers. She follows Wendy Killoran who did the same trip in May-June of 2005 in a time of 15 days. Two men are also known to have paddled around the island in the past, Barrett in 35 days and Reinhart Zollitsch who did the trip in a canoe in just 16 days. If folks out there know of others who have paddle around PEI, I would love to add their names (and times) to my list. I gather rom those who've done it, it's a great trip and a real achievement.
