>From the newspaper The Oregonian (Portland, Or.), 7/23/2005: A Chiloquin man died Thursday while riding a Sea-Doo watercraft when his wife accidentally ran into him on another Sea-Doo, the Klamath County Sheriff's Office reported. The man, aged 41, was stopped astride his Sea-Doo in the straits between Agency Lake and Upper Klamath Lake north of Klamath Falls when his wife came around a blind corner on a separate Sea-Doo and struck him broadside, throwing him into the water and knocking him unconscious. Despite efforts at resusitation, the man was pronounced dead at the scene. Both riders were wearing life jackets, but neither had mandatory state boater education cards. They had borrowed the sit-down, jet-propelled watercraft from friends. The Sheriff said it appeared the couple didn't have much experience with the Sea-Doos. Bradford R.
