I secured some strips of velcro using some adhesive I've found a whole bunch of that kind in local canadian store, called Steveston Marine (cheaper equivalent of West Marine, which also must have them). Many different sizes, prices from CDN 3 to CDN 4, black or white, called C-clip or something like that. Some have narrow walls, like those in the link, and some - about 1" wide (like 1"cut off plastic tube of required diameter). All of them looked very fragile to me.
