This is a brilliant idea. I can't do it this year since I'll be 
(hopefully) picking up my boat at the Symposium. However, I wanted to 
ask...

I assume you'll need to eat/visit the loo (but not mow the lawn :) ) 
while you're there - - what shall you do with your boat during the 
wasted time you're not on the water? If you're driving, you can lash 
it to the car rack, but it sounds like you're leaving your car 
behind...

We don't have that figured out, yet.  Maybe leave it at a 
campsite at the state park where friends are staying.  My boats 
are pretty trashed, so that they are not good candidates for thieves
