My 76Cx arrived yesterday and so far I've been pleased with it. I can tell right away though that I'm going ot have to buy some more detailed base maps. This morning we went out and found my first geocache. My 3 yr old loved "searching for treasure". After my first find I wondered if there were many geocaches out there that were only accessible by water. I have already though of several places I would like to place a cache that would be an easy paddle, but would pretty much only be accessible from the water. I did a bit we searching for geocaching by kayak but didn't find much. Given the interest by paddlers for GPS units it would seem to be a fun diversion. It could be called Paddlecaching.
