Four of us went out last saturday - 72 degree air temp and 44 degree
water. I had to drag my hands in the water to cool down.

3 surf skis and an outrigger canoe. We saw 6 other kayaks - all
blissfully unprepared for a swim. We were the only ones wearing
neoprene. Early January on the coast of massachusetts and people are
100+ meters from shore in shorts and t-shirts with a gusty wind...

Tomorrow I'm headed out to visit the warren light craft facility -
http://www.warrenlightcraft.com/ Then we have the awards ceremony for
our local surfski point series - we have races every tuesday night, when
the days are long. It's nice to get out and play after work. If it's
not snowing we'll probably paddle tomorrow after the awards ;-)
