They are even worse :-) 1:50,000 - and they are so-called "kayaking maps", not real marine charts. No details of currents or reefs. It only shows wide areas with reefs and currents. Also, - dirt roads, marinas, navaids, RV parks etc. And potential campsites for kayakers - many of them useful only under certain wind condtitions. Similar to Baja kayaking maps by Ed Gillet.
