While pondering on Map60cs, I've "discovered" map76cs - pretty much the same, only floating, not a potato shape, so doesn't need a foam pad, and only slightly more expensive (about $260 new). They don't come much cheaper on Ebay, though. There are some for sale almost every day, - and one of them runs on 4(!) AA batteries, according to the seller. I asked to confirm - the guy says: yes, 4 battteries. I've been thinking that all these handlends run on 2 AA (and Garmin says so).
