If I remember correctly Doug likes a minimal PFD. What about this one Doug? I wonder if the straps would chafe? I suspect they might if wearing light clothing like I wear much of the year in the American South. Still it looks pretty minimal. http://www.astralbuoyancy.com/02/hybrid.php Jim et al *************************************************************************** PaddleWise Paddling Mailing List - Any opinions or suggestions expressed here are solely those of the writer(s). And when you are paddling peacefully in hot weather or practising rescues in controlled conditions, you don't need this partial foam, so why not just wearing an inflatable, like Doug, or one of those meshbacks by Lotus - they are bulky in front, but provide ventilation at the back, which is where you are sweating the most. I'm not trying to critisize, - just wondering. Lotus meshbacks have been recalled, though - and no signs of coming back yet. *************************************************************************** PaddleWise Paddling Mailing List - Any opinions or suggestions expressed here are solely those of the writer(s).
