I heartily recommend the British company Chillcheater. http://www.chillcheater.com The small Devon-based company only do their Aquatherm suits to measure, while their fleeze (sp?) undergarments are more standardized! I am myself the reverse of you, with legs and arms fairly short (comparatively), but they catered for that excellently - perfect fit! We, the wife and I, both 50+, did not like the cuffs on the legs that much, though - too restrictive and- at least for me - hard to get one's feet through (I do have big feet!), so I eventually cut them off (the cuffs, that is!) - still nearly a watertight seal when I use my Aquatherm wading socks as complement! I use an Aquatherm Touring Cag as top, but there are other models, like the Tuliq, more optimized for those who like to roll all day! You can now, I'm told, order the Aquatherm trousers with Aquatherm socks attached permanently, if you so desire (not sure that is evident from their web site). Their lightweight suits are well liked by paddlers, actors and sailors - and me and my wife! http://www.chillcheater.com/film/film_home.asp That they're far cheaper than some other makes, doesn't hurt either! www.chillcheater.com Small firm, friendly staff and excellent products - what more can you need? Hope to buy some more stuff from them this year ;-)! I do note that their paddle suits are no longer advertised as DRY suits, probably to avoid being sued by American lawyers - but for the average paddler they surely fulfil that task excellently! Ours have certainly been put to test: It was the day after my wife's 50th birthday, when we happened to roll our Klepper accidentally, becoming fully immersed some 200 meters from the shore, at sea, the water temperature being around +3 C at sea, Our own capsize, wouldn't have ended as it did, hadn't we got the Aquatherm suits - I am fully convinced we would be dead by now without them (see foldingkayaks.org for more details - under Reports from Readers!). Tord, www.foldingkayaks.org/gallery/tord Owner of the Bagboater Yahoo group PS Just found out that Chillcheater now have a North America rep, paddler Chris Mitchell: http://reednorthamerica.com/ I also note that they now sell a aquafleeze suit, which is a combination of Aquatherm with fleeze - looks good! *************************************************************************** PaddleWise Paddling Mailing List - Any opinions or suggestions expressed here are solely those of the writer(s).
