Matt, I will be calling Mike Agostinelli (the firefighter in the Epic; Paul
was the other paddler in the Quest) this weekend. I was given his e-mail
back-channel, and he replied to me graciously with his phone number. I have
prepared a list of questions for him after pasting all the Paddlewise
comments and portions of the Lake Effects article that raised questions,
some of which we have not yet discussed. My prepared list of questions
includes those below exactly and many others, though I didn't think to ask
about the wing paddle. I'll add that to my list and reply back when I have
the information and Mike's blessings regarding what he wants repeated.

Please forward any other questions you might have. I'll be calling later
Saturday or Monday.

Got a sunburn walking on the beach today - yeah baby, spring is here!
Unfortunately, kayaking incidents usually occur now with greater frequency.
