Since I hadn't heard about this before Chuck's post I checked with the Seattle newspapers. Here are two links. One of them reports that the boat was a kayak and the other a canoe. http://seattlepi.nwsource.com/local/310425_kayaker06.html http://seattlepi.nwsource.com/local/6420ap_wa_canoeist_identified.html Craig Jungers Royal City, WA On Mon, 9 Apr 2007 05:13:58 4, skimmer <skimmer_at_enter.net> wrote: > > I see that other reports about the accident on Lake Ozette describe the > boat as being a canoe paddled by the two men on a camping trip. > > Nothing in NEWS report can be trusted other than that something > probably happened! > > Chuck Sutherland *************************************************************************** PaddleWise Paddling Mailing List - Any opinions or suggestions expressed here are solely those of the writer(s).
