[snip] So any of the other ladies out there have this problem? > Any suggestions? (and yes, I am on a weight loss program). Get a sit on top kayak. Get a kayak with a wider cockpit. Get a wetsuit or a different dry suit that doesn't have the problem. Check to see exactly what is hanging up the zipper as you are trying to exit (and just where it is hanging up). If you can, modify that so it won't happen. For instance, if the zipper is catching on the bottom of the coaming edge where the seat is bolted behind it, then maybe try bolting the seat on the inside rather than the outside of the hanger. Learn to twist your hips to one side, making them narrower, before trying to lift/drop yourself out of the cockpit. If the zipper on one side allows this hip rotation and the other side hangs up, learn to always rotate the same way. Otherwise, I hope you are enjoying your Sprite.
