I've been asked a couple times about the rig I use to take my videos and I've finally got around to posting a few pics on my website(thanks Duane). If you'd like to see, check out: The Captain's Mast at: www.sandmarks.net It will also give you an idea of why I seldom put the camera in front of me! If you have any other questions or comments, I'm all ears. I used a PVC upright at first, but it seemed a little wobbly so I went with copper for stiffness. Develops a lovely patina as well! The finished product is always impressive, regardless of the hardware. Is there a reason the upright is copper instead of PVC? Something to do with corrosion, perhaps?
