I have read several places about the anthropometric measuring system with Greenland kayaks and have heard about this same system being used on the baidarka. But I'm having problems finding anything concrete on the baidarka side. Did the Aleuts and the Inuits use the same measuring system or is this something that we modern builders are adapting on our own? It seems hard to believe they would have used the exact same system.
