Thank God you posted something!! I've been looking here for something to
read after the Port Townsend Symposium with just a smattering of posts to
feed a giant habit. Three days on a kayak beach with Broze and the rest of
them just doesn't prepare one for going cold turkey. You and Duane were
mentioned a few times and several of us agreed we'd like to travel down
there and paddle out to the Big Ass Rock.

Um... you might try borrowing a Mariner Express. I haven't tried mine in
ocean surf yet but it loves to surf wind waves and boat wakes even with me
in it and I weigh 225. I'd say try a Coaster but we don't need more
competition for those. <laugh>
