Thank God you posted something!! I've been looking here for something to read after the Port Townsend Symposium with just a smattering of posts to feed a giant habit. Three days on a kayak beach with Broze and the rest of them just doesn't prepare one for going cold turkey. You and Duane were mentioned a few times and several of us agreed we'd like to travel down there and paddle out to the Big Ass Rock. Bless you. Um... you might try borrowing a Mariner Express. I haven't tried mine in ocean surf yet but it loves to surf wind waves and boat wakes even with me in it and I weigh 225. I'd say try a Coaster but we don't need more competition for those. <laugh> Craig Jungers Royal City, WA On 9/18/07, Mark Sanders <sandmarks_at_ca.rr.com> wrote: > > I have been looking forward to what I consider the start of a new kayak > surfing season with anticipation and trepidation, so when Duane Strosaker > called me for a last minute San O session, I was in. *************************************************************************** PaddleWise Paddling Mailing List - Any opinions or suggestions expressed here are solely those of the writer(s).
