fellow paddlers: i am hoping the the mediator of this list will read this email before it is widely distributed. If it is an inappropriate intrusion, i would hope that it is not distributed. i do not in any way desire to upset the purpose and direction of threads related to this list. as a producer of a commercial product which has relevance concering this particular email, i know that any comments that i make would appear self-serving. I must however confess that i had struggled with my love to kayak and the realization that paddling with my dog on deck was simply not a safe combination for many years. I ended up developed a system to bring together my love for kayaking and my desire to spend that enjoyment with my dog. it would seem to me relevant to point out that equiping a kayak to better manage the addition of these live animals would be favourable to this near death experience. your comments related to this would be appreciated. Sincerely, Bart bart_at_kayrak.ca Well, here's an interesting story about a woman surviving 8 hours in the water after falling out of her kayak using a novel floatation technique. _http://www.kristv.com/global/story.asp?s=7171540_ (http://www.kristv.com/global/story.asp?s=7171540) I'm guessing that the water temperature was pretty warm!
