Well worth considering...& small, easy to pack. Last summer anchored out my yak on low tide in Trib Bay Hornby Island. Returning later that day at high tide I swam for it...seemed easy..I am fit and a good swimmer. Given the cold water and incoming south easter I nearly drowned except for simply saying that was not an option and totally drained reached my kayak.
