I have been reading these forums for some time, but never posted. Hopefully the reply with clipping the previous posts is the correct method. Pure novice kayaker, and living in New Mexico, will stay that way for some time. Purchased 2 used Feathercraft Kahuna folding kayaks and vacationed in San Carlos Mexico via motorhome and tow car in May. Did PFDs, paddle floats, bilge pumps, inflatable float bags, and sea socks for a bit of a safety edge, calm seas, stayed in sight of shore with no fog expected (compass just in case).
