I'm another some body on West Coast Paddlers who had the pick up truck coating
put on.

Mine's still holding up fine after more than a year. But maybe I'm just a
lightweight paddler; I don't do a lot of rock gardening.

If you go for this, and the place gives you a choice between "slick" and
"sticky" finishes, take the "slick" so it won't hang up on the beach during
launches and landings.

Cheers,

Philip

Someone on West Coast Paddlers tried putting the material that they coat

pickup truck beds with and it was ok for a while but didn't last even a

year.
