Some time back someone here told us
members about a young guy on a
jetski mobbing paddlers -

Could someone refresh my memory,
and tell us what happened next?

Thanks,

Tord

To the best of my recollection there were several people in kayaks and one
jetski with two people aboard circling them several times until at least one
kayak capsized. No one was hurt although at least one kayak had to be taken
to shore (where they were headed when the jetski started harassing them) for
re-entry. They got the registration numbers on the jetski and found it and
the operator and arrested him. I don't know what happened after that and I
can't find references on Google.

But, just for some information, I did find quite a few references to
capsized kayakers being rescued by jetski operators.

IIRC, the report came from Wes Kantmemberizlasname
[ moderator - Wes Boyd was the person involved ].
He had a site--now
defunct--that was a great info center for big boy and girl kayakers.
Craig has the basics of the incident correct. As I recall, the water was
very cold and hypothermia was a concern.
