Well, bifocals do complicate things a bit. I'm glad I'm not there yet, but
then I don't have charts or a GPS or even a compass!Maybe if I start doing
my crosswords out on the water!
I just invested $50 in three new pairs of glasses--one of them being my
designated kayak shades. They have a leash permanently mounted with a small
float, so perhaps they do give my head a bit of buoyancy during a roll!
I think I'm so enamoured with my cheap prescription glasses because I can
remember wearing broken glasses for so long when I was younger because they
were always so expensive to buy or repair. I'd break a set and then have to
pay a Dr. to give me a new prescription for a new pair. Now I can get 10
pairs for the price I paid for one and the internet doesn't care how old my
prescription is! I'm sure somehow this is contributing to global warming,
but I do look stylish in my new shades!
