Normally would not reply - but $3200 for a used boat is very high in my
opinion.

Off kayaking for a few days (not sure how far I'll get with serious
tendonitis, but us older grey-bearding types know how to paddle through the
pain). And I need to get on the water and get away, even if for a day or
two...

Almost bought an almost new Nordkapp Jubilee this week from my Storm Island
buddy who gave up kayaking soon after that; the kayak has had almost no
use:

It would make a great touring boat, with VCP rudder, foredeck pump, and
built-in compass, while I work toward acquiring or making a day boat for
serious play. However, the $3200.00 (though it does come with
paddle/skirt)would go well toward a more updated, fun kayak - either a day
boat or touring, that had a better hull for intimate coastal play. And if I
did get a newer used Nordkapp I'd just reconfigure it anyway, and still not
get what I really want.
