I've never met Dave, but have benfitted greatly from his kindness. When I paddled the Queen Charlottes a while ago, Dave sold me, at a lot less than cost, all the charts for the whole area. Laminated, and cut up into useable pieces, no less. And the many email conversation have been a pleasure, too. Hoping for the best . . .
