People who haven't been sleeping for the last twenty years are aware
of the potential environmental damage done by zebra mussels, quagga mussels,
asian carp, spartina grass, and others. Lake Meade is already under
seige by quagga mussels. The battle against spartina grass in Willapa
Bay, Wa. has
been going on for years. But the image of Chinese Mitten crabs crawling
up the Columbia River and eating salmon eggs is a nightmare scenario.

Have you checked your bathing suit for invasive species lately?
